CERI'S MISSION IS TO IMPROVE THE SOCIAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL AND ECONOMIC HEALTH OF REFUGEES EFFECT BY WAR, GENOCIDE, AND OTHER FORMS OF TRAUMA.

THIS FISCAL YEAR (20/21) HAS BEEN A YEAR OF EXPANSION AND IMPROVEMENT ON CURRENT SERVICES. WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO KEEP ALL OF OUR PROGRAMS, RUNNING CONTINUOUS SUPPORT GROUPS, INDIVIDUAL THERAPY, AND CASE MANAGEMENT AND HAVE HAD A 10% INCREASE IN NEW CLIENTS. WE HAVE INCREASED OUR SERVICES FOR YOUTH, FORMERLY INCARCERATED PARTICIPANTS, AND YOUNG ADULTS. WE WERE ABLE TO PROVIDE OVER 50,000 HOT MEALS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH WORLD CENTRAL KITCHEN AND DELIVERED OR PROVIDED ONGOING GROCERY SUPPORT TO OVER 50 FAMILIES. WE RAISED OVER 75,000$ THAT WENT DIRECTLY TO FAMILIES TO HELP WITH FOOD, RENT SUPPORT, UTILITIES, AND OTHER NECESSITIES. OUR EXPANDED SERVICES INCLUDE A NEW PUBLIC BENEFITS PROGRAM (ENROLLING PARTICIPANTS IN MEDI-CAL AND CALFRESH), A TOWN HALL FORUM FOR OUR ELDERS, A RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, PROVIDING 2 COVID TESTING DAYS AND THREE COVID VACCINATION DAYS AND OUR CALHOPE PROGRAM, COVID COUNSELING, AND REFERRAL PROGRAM FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY COVID, SERVING 10 DIFFERENT REFUGEE AND IMMIGRANT POPULATIONS IN OVER 11 LANGUAGES.
