TO GIVE AT-RISK CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES THE BEST POSSIBLE OPPORTUNITY TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF POVERTY BY FOSTERING COLLABORATION IN THE COMMUNITY AND BETWEEN THE PROVIDERS OF MEDICAL, SOCIAL, EDUCATIONAL, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT SERVICES, AND FACILITATING IMPROVED EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF SERVICE DELIVERY WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE TEXAS CITY AND LA MARQUE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICTS.

MAINLAND CHILDREN'S PARTNERSHIP, INC. IS A MULTIPHASE SYSTEM OF SERVICE DELIVERED TO "AT RISK" FAMILIES IN THE AREA CONCENTRATING ON THE ENHANCEMENT OF CHILD'S INTELLECTUAL SKILLS & EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT.


IN JULY 2021, MAINLAND CHILDREN'S PARTNERSHIP RECEIVED A CONTRACT WITH GALVESTON COUNTY TO AID IN THE EMERGENCY RENTAL ASSISTANCE (ERA) PROGRAM ENACTED AS PART OF THE CARES ACT. THE ERA PROGRAM MAKES FUNDING AVAILABLE TO ASSIST HOUSEHOLDS THAT ARE UNABLE TO PAY RENT, UTILITIES AND RELATED LIVING COSTS. MAINLAND CHILDREN'S PARTNERSHIP PROVIDES THE SERVICE DIRECTLY TO THE COMMUNITY AND GALVESTON COUNTY REIMBURSES THE ORGANIZATION FOR THE RELATED COSTS AND OVERHEAD ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING THE SERVICES.


THE ORGANIZATION HAS ENTERED INTO SEVERAL SUBLEASE AGREEMENTS WITH VARIOUS GOVERNMENT AND NON-PROFIT AGENCIES, WHICH PROVIDE HEALTH CARE AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE DISADVANTAGED.
