SOCIAL SERVICES PROGRAM:THE SOCIAL SERVICES PROGRAM EQUIPS ADULTS WITH THE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE NEEDED FOR CAREER AND FINANCIAL SUCCESS. IN 2021, 677 CLIENTS PARTICIPATED IN JOB READINESS WORKSHOPS, 190 CLIENTS RECEIVED VOCATIONAL TRAINING, 282 CLIENTS RECEIVED JOB SEARCH ASSISTANCE, 991 CLIENTS RECEIVED FINANCIAL EDUCATION, 2,217 CLIENTS RECEIVED UTILITY ASSISTANCE, 66 CLIENTS RECEIVED SENIOR EMPLOYMENT SERVICES, 17 CLIENTS RECEIVED NATURALIZATION ASSISTANCE, 174 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL) AND CITIZENSHIP INSTRUCTION, 93 CLIENTS RECEIVED ADULT BASIC EDUCATION, 89 CLIENTS PARTICIPATED IN HOMEBUYER EDUCATION WORKSHOPS (CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O) AND PRE-PURCHASE HOUSING COUNSELING, 2,873 CLIENTS RECEIVED CASE MANAGEMENT, AND 911 CLIENTS RECEIVED TAX PREPARATION ASSISTANCE.


EARLY LEARNING CENTER PROGRAM:THE EARLY LEARNING CENTER IS A NAEYC-ACCREDITED EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PROGRAM THAT HELPS CHILDREN AGED 15 MONTHS TO 5 YEARS ACHIEVE AGE-APPROPRIATE DEVELOPMENTAL MILESTONES. IN 2021, 62 CHILDREN RECEIVED EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION, 130 PARENTS WERE SERVED THROUGH PARENTING CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS, AND 31 PARENTS FROM LOW- TO MODERATE-INCOME HOUSEHOLDS RECEIVED SUBSIDIZED CHILDCARE.


SENIOR CENTER PROGRAM:THE SENIOR SERVICES PROGRAM HELPS OLDER ADULTS REDUCE THEIR ISOLATION BY KEEPING THEM HEALTHY; INDEPENDENT; AND PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY, AND SOCIALLY ACTIVE. IN 2021, 311 CLIENTS PARTICIPATED IN COMMUNITY CENTER ACTIVITIES, 378 CLIENTS PARTICIPATED IN FITNESS ACTIVITIES, 89 CLIENTS RECEIVED HOME VISITS, 332 CLIENTS RECEIVED HEALTH EDUCATION, 300 CLIENTS RECEIVED PREVENTION SERVICES, AND 37 CLIENTS RECEIVED CAREGIVER TRAINING AND SUPPORT.


CULTURE AND COMMUNITY PROGRAM:THE CULTURE & COMMUNITY PROGRAM PROVIDES CULTURAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY. IN 2021, 250 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN CHINESE LANGUAGE EDUCATION AND ABOUT 14,000 PEOPLE VIEWED THE VIRTUAL LUNAR NEW YEAR FESTIVAL ONLINE.YOUTH PROGRAM:THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES ENRICHING ACADEMIC OUT-OF-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES TO YOUTH IN KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 12TH GRADE. IN 2021, 151 YOUTH PARTICIPATED IN CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT; 59 YOUTH RECEIVED MENTORING; 160 YOUTH RECEIVED ACADEMIC TUTORING; 122 YOUTH PARTICIPATED IN SUMMER CAMP; 144 PARENTS PARTICIPATED IN PARENTING CLASSES, WORKSHOPS, AND PRESENTATIONS; 150 YOUTH PARTICIPATED IN DRUG PREVENTION; 145 YOUTH PARTICIPATED IN HEALTH EDUCATION; AND 138 STUDENTS ENGAGED IN EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOCUSED ON SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, AND MATH (STEM).
