PROVIDES ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT, AND STEM TRAINING FOR K-12 STUDENTS. MENTORSHIP, LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS, JOB AND SKILLS TRAINING, AND COMPUTER TRAINING FOR YOUTH. HUMANITARIAN AID AND DISASTER RELIEF IN THE USA, AFRICA, LATIN AMERICA, EUROPE, AND CARIBBEAN.

STEM AND SKILLS TRAINING. THROUGH THIS PROJECT CHILDREN & CHARITY INTERNATIONAL PROVIDED YEAR ROUND ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT WITH HOMEWORK HELP, TUTORING, AND MENTORING, FOR CHILDREN, YOUTH, AND FAMILIES OF GREATER WASHINGTON DC. CAC EQUIPPED AND SET-UP COMPUTER LABS TO PREPARE STUDENTS FOR 21ST CENTURY WORKFORCE DEMANDS.CAC CONDUCTED STEM, SKILLS, AND YOUTH LEADERSHIP TRAINING, AND HOSTED SUMMER YOUTH EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM (SYEP) PARTICIPANTS. CAC ENGAGED YOUTH IN DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS, SEMINARS, JOB TRAINING, AND APPRENTICESHIPS. CAC PROVIDED MEALS, VIRTUAL LEARNING AND LITERACY AID.


COMMUNITY OUTREACH


HUMAN SERVICES. PROVIDED FUNDS, SCHOOL SUPPLIES, FOOD CARE PACKAGES, CLOTHING, AND INCIDENTALS TO SUPPORT EDUCATION AND DAILY UPKEEP OF 15,500 STUDENTS IN HAITI, KENYA, LIBERIA AND SIERRA LEONE. CAC PROVIDED SUPPLIES AND SUPPORT FOR MIRACIA HOSPITAL IN HAITI FOR TRAINING NURSES THAT PROVIDE MUCH NEEDED HEALTHCARE SERVICES FOR PATIENTS FROM MERGER AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES.


COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT. SPONSORED ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION PROJECT TO BENEFIT 42,000 ELEMENTARY STUDENTS IN ACCRA, DANSOMAN, AND TEMA GHANA; AND DISTRIBUTED FOOD AND CARE PACKAGES TO 126,000 COMMUNITY RESIDENTS. CAC SPONSORED AN ELEMENTARY/PRIMARY SCHOOL IN PORT-HARCOURT RIVERS STATE NIGERIA. CAC PROVIDED SCHOLARSHIPS AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING TO 300 YOUTH IN MOMBASA AND ELDORET KENYA. CAC SUPPORTED A TEENAGE MOTHER/CHILD PROJECT IN TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO TO HELP SINGLE MOTHERS TRAIN FOR A BETTER FUTURE. CAC SUPPORTED CARE FOR A CHILD'S HEART PROJECT - HEART SURGERY AND HEALTHCARE PROGRAM IN KENYA.
