TO ENFORCE, PROTECT AND ENHANCE THE RIGHTS AND BENEFITS OF ITS MEMBERS AND TO ASSURE A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ITS MEMBERS AND THE CITIZENS OF EL PASO

Part 3 - Line 4a

ORGANIZATION ACTS AS BARGAINING AGENT WITH ANY CITY CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO PAYS DUES TO STATE LABOR UNION TO PROVIDE LEGAL REPRESENTATION TO THE OFFICERS WHO REQUIRE IT.


THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES A $100,000 TERM-LIFE INSURANCE POLICY TO ALL OF ITS MEMBERS. IT ALSO PROVIDES A RELIEF AND MEMORIAL PROGRAM FOR FALLEN OFFICERS,AN AWARD BANQUET FOR YEARS OF SERVICE PROVIDED AS WELL AS OTHER MEMBERSHIP ACTIVITIES TO PROMOTE, TRAIN, AND PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO MEMBERSHIP.


MAINTENANCE OF A MEETING HALL AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES USED FOR MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS AND ACTIVITIES THAT PROMOTE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS IN THE COMMUNITY.


AN ON-GOING PROGRAM OF VARIOUS CHARITABLE DONATIONS THAT BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY INCLUDING A SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
