PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL CLINICAL COUNSELING FOR ADULTS, CHILDREN AND FAMILIES, INCLUDING LONG TERM SUPPORTIVE TREATMENT, BRIEF THERAPY, AND EMERGENCY TREATMENT ALSO SHORT TERM FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO SAN ANTONIO AREA RESIDENTS WHO NEED HELP PAYING FOR RENT, UTILITIES, FOOD, AND OTHER NECESSITIES.

SAFETY NET- PROVIDES ONE-TIME FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO RESIDENTS OF SAN ANTONIO WHO NEED HELP AVOIDING EVICTION, UTILITY DISCONNECTION, ACCESS TO FOOD, AND OTHER NECESSITIES ON AN AS NEEDED BASIS. THE PROGRAM ALSO PROVIDES CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO CLIENTS WHO NEED ASSISTANCE WITH ACCESSING RESOURCES AND BENEFITS, HEALTH CARE, HOUSING AND RELOCATION, FINANCIAL NEEDS, TRANSPORTATION, AND OCCUPATIONAL NEEDS. CASE MANAGERS ALSO PROVIDE CASE MANAGEMENT AND ONGOING SUPPORT TO CAREGIVERS AND OLDER ADULTS. THE ORGANIZATION ASSISTED 504 INDIVIDUALS WITH THIS PROGRAM DURING FYE 22.


COUNSELING PROFESSIONAL CLINICAL COUNSELING IS PROVIDED TO THE SAN ANTONIO COMMUNITY AND OUTLYING AREAS. THIS INCLUDES INDIVIDUAL, FAMILY, AND GROUP COUNSELING SESSIONS. METHODS INCLUDE LONG TERM SUPPORTIVE TREATMENT, BRIEF THERAPY, AND EMERGENCY TREATMENT. THE AGENCY HAS ASSISTED 1,129 INDIVIDUALS FOR 8,800 COUNSELING SESSIONS DURING FY 21-22.
