NW LA FOOD BANK'S MISSION IS TO BE THE PRIMARY RESOURCE FOR FIGHTING HUNGER IN NORTHWEST LOUISIANA.

THE FOOD BANK OF NORTHWEST LOUISIANA IS THE LARGEST DISTRIBUTOR OF DONATED FOOD FOR BIENVILLE, CLAIBORNE, WEBSTER, RED RIVER, DESOTO, BOSSIER AND CADDO PARISHES IN NORTHWEST LOUISIANA. THE FOOD BANK WORKS TO ACQUIRE, SORT, WAREHOUSE AND DISTRIBUTE FOOD TO OVER 150 COLLABORATING NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. THESE NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS CONSIST OF HOMELESS SHELTERS, CHURCH FOOD PANTRY PROGRAMS, SOUP KITCHENS, RESIDENTIAL CENTERS, AND SCHOOLS.
