AAPI EQUITY ALLIANCE IS A COALITION OF COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS THAT ADVOCATES FOR THE RIGHTS AND NEEDS OF THE ASIAN AND PACIFIC ISLANDER (API) COMMUNITY IN THE GREATER LOS ANGELES AREA, WITH PARTICULAR FOCUS ON LOW-INCOME, IMMIGRANT, REFUGEE AND OTHER VULNERABLE POPULATIONS.

TO ACCOMPLISH ITS MISSION, AAPI EQUITY ALLIANCE:1. PROMOTED THE NEEDS, INTERESTS AND CONCERNS OF THE API COMMUNITY TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.2. STRENGTHENED COLLABORATION, PLANNING AND COLLECTIVE ACTION AMONG ITS MEMBERS THROUGH COMMON ADVOCACY, ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELPOPMENT AND CAPACITY-BUILDING.3.
