WINTERFEST'S MAIN PROGRAM EVENT IS THE FORT LAUDERDALE BOAT PARADE. THE PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE THE GREATER FORT LAUDERDALE AREA. THE BOAT PARADE PROVIDES A MAJOR HOLIDAY EVENT WITH AN ESTIMATED ATTENDANCE OF 1 MILLION AND LOCAL AND NATIONAL MEDIA COVERAGE.
VARIOUS SMALLER EVENTS SURROUNDING THE FORT LAUDERDALE BOAT PARADE FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING THE FORT LAUDERDALE AREA AND BRINGING PEOPLE INTO FORT LAUDERDALE PRIOR TO AND DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON.
