TO ACTIVELY SEEK AND INVEST CHARITABLE SUPPORT FOR ST. VINCENT'S HEALTH SYSTEM, SO THAT THEY MAY IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITIES THEY SERVE.

FORMED IN 1984 TO ADMINISTER CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS FOR ST. VINCENT'S HOSPITAL (NOW ST. VINCENT'S HEALTH SYSTEM), ST. VINCENT'S FOUNDATION STRIVES TO SUPPORT OUR HEALTH MINISTRY IN PROVIDING SPIRITUALLY-CENTERED, HOLISTIC CARE FOR OUR COMMUNITIES. AFTER A MERGER WITH EASTERN HEALTH SYSTEM, ST. VINCENT'S FOUNDATION AND ST. VINCENT'S EAST FOUNDATION JOINED IN 2011 TO UNIFY OUR EFFORTS IN THIS MISSION. THE FOUNDATION WORKS WITH DONORS ACROSS CENTRAL ALABAMA AND BEYOND TO RAISE FUNDS FOR PROGRAMS, EDUCATION, EQUIPMENT, AND TECHNOLOGY. WE ALSO DRIVE CAPITAL CAMPAIGNS THAT FUND NEW, IMPROVED FACILITIES FOR OUR HEALTH SYSTEM. AS PART OF THE ASCENSION CATHOLIC HEALTH MINISTRY, WE SERVED IN SUPPORT OF ASCENSION'S COMMITMENT TO BOTH CARE FOR PATIENTS AND COMMUNITIES AND SUPPORT CAREGIVERS AND OTHER ASSOCIATES THROUGH THE CHALLENGES OF THE COVID-19 GLOBAL PANDEMIC IN FY 2021.
