A UNIVERSITY THAT NURTURES PERSONS IN THEIR DEVELOPMENT OF INTELLECT, CREATIVITY, FAITH, AND PERSONHOOD: FOSTERS ACADEMIC, CAREER, AND ETHICAL COMPENTENCY WHILE ENCOURAGING SOCIAL AND CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY AND SERVICE TO OTHERS.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

SAMFORD UNIVERSITY, WITH ITS 14:1 STUDENT TO FACULTY RATIO IN THE 2020-2021 ACADEMIC YEAR, OFFERED 38 DEGREE PROGRAMS IN 124 MAJORS TO STUDENTS IN TEN ACADEMIC SCHOOLS. STUDENTS WERE ENROLLED FROM MORE THAN 48 STATES AND 22 FOREIGN COUNTRIES. THE TUITION AND FEES DERIVED FROM THESE STUDENTS PAID THE SALARIES, WAGES AND BENEFITS OF THE UNIVERSITY'S FACULTY AND STAFF.


SAMFORD UNIVERSITY AWARDED OVER $68 MILLION IN AID TO NEARLY 5,400 STUDENTS DURING THE 2020-2021 AID YEAR.


ADDITIONAL PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDE FOOD SERVICES AND VENDING, EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS/PROGRAMS AND OTHER TYPES OF PROGRAM SERVICES.
