TEACHER CONSERVATION TOUR - SPONSORSHIP OF TWO DAY EDUCATIONAL TOURS IN THE SUMMER FOCUSING ON ALL ASPECTS OF FORESTRY, FROM THE LANDOWNER TO THE MANUFACTURER. ATTENDED BY APPROXIMATELY 31 EDUCATORS.


PROJECT LEARNING TREE - AWARD WINNING EDUCATIONAL TRAINING SERIES FOR TEACHERS IN ARKANSAS. CONDUCTED 33 CLINICS ATTENDED BY APPROXIMATELY 627 INDIVIDUALS ON VARIOUS TOPICS RELATIVE TO FORESTRY IN ARKANSAS AND THE USA. CONDUCTED 30 SCHOOL AND CAMP PROGRAMS REACHING 1502 YOUTH AND 2365 TEACHERS AND ADULTS. HOSTED ANNUAL PLT INTERNATIONAL COORDINATORS' CONFERENCE WITH 113 PARTICIPANTS FROM 39 STATES, WASHINGTON DC, AND 4 COUNTRIES.


LANDOWNER EDUCATION - TO PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE FORESTRY PRINCIPLES TO ALL ARKANSAS LANDOWNERS BY PROVIDING LANDOWNER EDUCATION, ASSISTANCE AND OUTREACH, AND BUILDING A NETWORK OF FORESTRY-RELATED RESOURCES. CONDUCTED 26 WORKSHOPS ATTENDED BY APPROXIMATELY 2468 INDIVIDUALS.
