THE MISSION IS TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE THROUGH THE SCIENCE OF ORTHOPAEDIC MEDICINE WITH A STRONG COMMITMENT TO SURGEON EDUCATION, ORTHOPAEDIC RESEARCH, AND COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE. THE CAMPBELL FOUNDATION PROVIDES A RESIDENCY AND FELLOWSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM FOR DOCTORS SPECIALIZING IN ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY, CONDUCTS PROMISING RESEARCH TO DISCOVER NEW TREATMENTS AND THERAPIES FOR ORTHOPAEDIC CONDITIONS, AND PUBLISHES ARTICLES IN NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL JOURNALS AS WELL AS CHAPTERS FOR ORTHOPAEDIC TEXTBOOKS.

THE MEDICAL EDUCATION PROGRAM PROVIDES ACADEMIC AND RESEARCH SUPPORT (BOOKS, TRAINING, TRAVEL, CREDENTIALING, LICENSURE, WEEKLY CONFERENCES, RESEARCH AND OTHER SUPPORT) FOR 40 RESIDENTS; SALARY AND BENEFITS, ALONG WITH ACADEMIC AND RESEARCH SUPPORT (BOOKS, TRAVEL, CREDENTIALING, LICENSURE, WEEKLY CONFERENCES, RESEARCH AND OTHER SUPPORT) FOR 6 FELLOWS. ACADEMIC LECTURES, SURGICAL LABS AND TRAINING PROGRAMS ARE PROVIDED TO RESIDENTS, FELLOWS AND PRACTICING PHYSICIANS IN ADDITION TO ORTHOPAEDIC HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS.ORTHOPAEDIC CLINICAL RESEARCH SUPPORT IS PROVIDED THROUGH SCIENTIFIC LABORATORIES, STATISTICAL AND DATA SUPPORT, INSTITUTIONAL COLLABORATION, PATIENT SUPPORT, RESEARCH SUPPLIES AND ASSISTANCE FROM SCIENTISTS, LABORATORY TECHNICIANS AND OTHER ASSISTANTS.BEST PRACTICES, TECHNIQUES AND RESEARCH FINDINGS ARE DISSEMINATED THROUGH PEER-REVIEWED JOURNAL ARTICLES, PROFESSIONAL SOCIETY PRESENTATIONS, ACADEMIC TEXTBOOK CHAPTERS AND ORIGINAL ARTICLES.IN ADDITION, THE PROGRAM IS ASSISTED BY PROGRAM COORDINATORS, MEDICAL WRITERS, GRAPHIC DESIGN ASSISTANTS, MEDICAL LIBRARIAN AND OTHER ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTS.COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE PROGRAMS DELIVER COMPREHENSIVE ORTHOPAEDIC CARE, EDUCATION AND SERVICES TO HIGH-RISK, HIGH-NEED ADULT AND PEDIATRIC PATIENTS IN THE GREATER MEMPHIS REGION AND LOCATIONS AROUND THE WORLD.
