THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE IS NEGOTIATING LOCAL LABOR CONTRACTS AND ASSISTING IN GRIEVANCES AND JURISDICTIONAL DISPUTES. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO ASSISTS LABOR AND MANAGEMENT WITH SAFETY TRAINING TO IMPROVE SAFETY PRACTICES ON THE JOB AND PROMOTE A DRUG FREE WORKFORCE.

NEGOTIATED A STATE-WIDE INDUSTRIAL LABOR AGREEMENT WITH THE MILLWRIGHT AND LABORER'S UNIONS, WHICH WILL ENABLE BOTH LABOR AND MANAGEMENT TO WORK UNDER THE SAME WORKING CONDITIONS STATE WIDE.


CONTINUED TO UPDATE THE TRAINING FOR EMPLOYEES WHO ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE TRAINING IN OSHA 10, OSHA 30, AND MSHA TO MEET OUR CLIENTS' REQUIREMENTS, CLIENT SITE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS, AND EMPLOYEE BACKGROUND CHECKS. DEVELOPED LOCAL UNION APPRENTICESHIP & TRAINING COMMITTEES TO MONITOR LOCAL PROGRAMS.


DEVELOPED CONTINUING EDUCATION WORKSHOPS FOR LOCAL AND MANAGEMENT TRUSTEES SERVING ON LOCAL UNION FRINGE BENEFIT PROGRAMS. WORKED WITH LOCAL UNION APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS TO DEVELOP COVID PROTOCOLS IN ORDER TO KEEP CLASSES OPEN.
