CHILDREN & YOUTH FUND SUPPORTS PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE EDUCATION TO FAMILIES AND YOUTH TO REDUCE RISKY BEHAVIORS, ABUSE, NELGECT, AND REPEAT TEEN PREGNANCIES.


FLOYD COUNTY FAMILY CONNECTION IS A COMMUNITY BASED FAMILY CENTERED PROGRAM WHICH IS LINKED CLOSELY WITH THE LOCAL SCHOOLS, DFCS, JUVENILE COURT, AND OTHER CHILD SERVING AGENCIES. PROGRAM GOALS INCLUDE A REDUCTION IN SCHOOL DROP-OUTS, DELINQUENCY, TEEN PREGNANCY, SUBSTANCE ABUSE, BULLYING, AND CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT.
