IN 2021, SAVANNAH TREE FOUNDATION (STF) DEMONSTRATED DEDICATION TO ITS MISSION TO PROTECT AND GROW CHATHAM COUNTY'S URBAN FOREST BY PLANTING 203 TREES ACROSS 16 SITES. STF ALSO GAVE AWAY 870 SEEDLINGS AND SAPLINGS TO THE PUBLIC. MORE THAN 200 PEOPLE OF ALL AGES VOLUNTEERED WITH THE ORGANIZATION, ACCOUNTING FOR APPROXIMATELY 500 HOURS OF SERVICE. ANOTHER 82 PEOPLE ATTENDED IN-PERSON EDUCATION EVENTS AND HUNDREDS MORE ENGAGED WITH ONLINE EDUCATION PROGRAMMING. STF CONTINUED ITS ONGOING STEWARDSHIP OF THE HISTORIC 300+ YEAR OLD CANDLER OAK IN SAVANNAH'S NATIONAL HISTORIC LANDMARK DISTRICT.
