ARTS ENCOUNTER: M&G'S EDUCATION STAFF PROVIDES CROSS-CURRICULAR, ARTS-INTEGRATED LESSONS AND PROGRAMMING FOR THOUSANDS OF K-12 STUDENTS AND EDUCATORS. ARTS ENCOUNTER INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS: MUSEUM ON THE MOVE (MOM), CULTURAL DISCOVERY TOURS, KIDS CREATE! SUMMER ART DAY CAMP, AND HOMESCHOOL DAYS. THESE PROGRAMS PARTNER WITH STUDENTS (PUBLIC, PRIVATE, AND HOME EDUCATION), EDUCATORS, AND FAMILIES TO PROVIDE A LOW-COST, HIGH-QUALITY ARTS PROGRAM THAT SERVES NEARLY 15,000 ANNUALLY. THE MUSEUM ON THE MOVE PROGRAM ALONE REACHES AROUND 12,000 STUDENTS, 95% FROM PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
