FUNDRAISING ARM OF PRESBYTERIAN SENIORCARE AND ITS TAX EXEMPT AFFILIATES.THE MISSION OF THE PRESBYTERIAN SENIORCARE FOUNDATION IS TO SUPPORT PRESBYTERIAN SENIORCARE AND ITS TAX-EXEMPT AFFILIATES BY BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS AND CREATING A CULTURE THAT VALUES DONORS, PHILANTHROPY, VOLUNTEERS, AND STEWARDSHIP.ESTABLISHED ON JANUARY 25, 1928 IN THE COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA, PRESBYTERIAN SENIORCARE IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT, CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO ENRICHING THE AGING EXPERIENCE THROUGH PERSON-CENTERED SERVICE AND LIVING OPTIONS. IN KEEPING WITH THE CHARITABLE MISSION OF PRESBYTERIAN SENIORCARE, DONORS GENEROUSLY CONTRIBUTE GIFTS THAT SUPPORT BENEVOLENT CARE, CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS, PROGRAM ENHANCEMENTS, AND AN EMERGENCY FUND FOR EMPLOYEES IN DIRE NEED THROUGH THE PRESBYTERIAN SENIORCARE FOUNDATION.

ALL FUNDRAISING PROGRAMS AND SERVICES ARE CONDUCTED TO SUPPORT THE CHARITABLE MISSION OF PRESBYTERIAN SENIORCARE AND ITS AFFILIATED TAX EXEMPT CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS. PRESBYTERIAN SENIORCARE IS THE SOLE MEMBER OF NUMEROUS NONPROFIT MEMBERSHIP CORPORATIONS THAT PROVIDE A REGIONAL SYSTEM OF HOUSING, PERSONAL CARE, ALZHEIMER'S AND DEMENTIA CARE, LONG-TERM AND REHABILITATION HEALTHCARE, AND COMMUNITY SERVICES FOR OLDER ADULTS. OF NOTE ARE ITS 28 AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMUNITIES SERVING PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES AND LOW-INCOME SENIORS THROUGH A SERVICE-ENRICHED MODEL THAT SUPPORTS AGING IN PLACE AND MINIMIZES THE NEED FOR INSTITUTIONAL CARE. PRESBYTERIAN SENIORCARE NETWORK GIVES BACK TO ITS LOCAL COMMUNITIES AND PROVIDES CHARITABLE CARE TO THE SENIORS IT SERVES IN ITS PERSONAL CARE COMMUNITIES WHO ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO PAY FOR THEIR CARE. IN 2021 ACROSS ITS REGIONAL NETWORK, IT PROVIDED A COMBINED TOTAL OF APPROXIMATELY $30 MILLION IN BENEVOLENT AND UNCOMPENSATED CARE, OF WHICH BENEVOLENT CARE REPRESENTED APPROXIMATELY $3 MILLION. THE PRESBYTERIAN SENIORCARE FOUNDATION SECURES FINANCIAL RESOURCES FOR PLACES, PROGRAMS AND BENEVOLENT CARE, ALSO KNOWN AS CHARITABLE CARE. ITS FUNDRAISING PROGRAMS INCLUDE SPECIAL EVENTS, SOLICITATIONS, MAJOR GIFTS AS WELL AS ANNUAL, MEMORIAL AND PLANNED GIVING. PROGRAMS ARE CONDUCTED AS A COMPREHENSIVE EFFORT AND INCLUDE BENEVOLENT CARE, RESIDENT AND STAFF ENRICHMENT, CAPITAL PROJECTS AND CAPITAL EQUIPMENT FUNDRAISING. SPECIAL EVENTS HELD BY THE FOUNDATION CONTINUED TO RAISE MUCH-NEEDED FUNDS FOR PRESBYTERIAN SENIORCARE NETWORK. THE TWO MAJOR EVENTS ARE YOUR HOLIDAY HOME AND THE ANNUAL GOLF OUTING. WE HAVE INCREASED BOTH THE NUMBER OF CORNERSTONE SOCIETY MEMBERS, THOSE WHO HAVE SUPPORTED PRESBYTERIAN SENIORCARE WITH A LEADERSHIP GIFT OF $1,000 OR MORE TO BENEVOLENT OR UNRESTRICTED SUPPORT, AND THE ANDERSON LEGACY SOCIETY DONORS WHO HAVE MADE PLANNED GIFTS BY INCLUDING US IN THEIR WILLS OR ESTATE PLANS, EACH OF THE LAST FOUR YEARS.
