SERVED AN EIGHT COUNTY AREA AS AN EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY RESOURCE SUPPORTING EFFORTS TO PROTECT THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT AND CULTURAL RESOURCES OF THE AREA. PROGRAMING INCLUDED WORKSHOPS, SEMINARS, SMALL BUSINESS NETWORKING, SMALL TOWN REVITALIZATION AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND STARWORKS CENTER FOR CREATIVE ENTERPRISE. STARWORKS FOCUSED PRIMARILY ON ARTS AND CULTURAL RESOURCE RELATED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, PARTICULARLY THOSE THAT ALLOWED INDIVIDUAL ARTISTS TO EXPAND THEIR PRODUCTIONS, PORTFOLIOS AND INCOMES. STARWORKS PROVIDED VARIOUS RESIDENCY OPPORTUNITIES FOR 24-30 ARTISTS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD.
