IN 2006, THE TAXPAYER BEGAN DOING BUSINESS AS THE COALITION FOR COMMUNITY PHARMACY ACTION (CCPA). CCPA'S MISSION IS TO ENSURE THAT PATIENTS HAVE CONTINUED ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE MEDICINES AND PRESCRIPTION CARE FROM THEIR TRUSTED AND ACCESSIBLE HEALTH PROFESSIONAL-THE COMMUNITY PHARMACIST. ACTIVITIES HAVE INCLUDED PUBLIC RELATIONS PROGRAMS, RESEARCH, GRASSROOTS EFFORTS, ADVERTISING, AND INDUSTRY-RELATED LITIGATION.TAXPAYER IS JOINTLY ADMINISTERED BY THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CHAIN DRUG STORES, INC. AND THE NATIONAL COMMUNITY PHARMACISTS ASSOCIATION.
