THE CLAUDIA MAYER TINA BROCCOLINO CANCER RESOURCE CENTER AT HOWARD COUNTY GENERAL HOSPITAL OFFERS HOPE AND A COMPREHENSIVE ARRAY OF SUPPORT AND SERVICES TO CANCER PATIENTS, THEIR FAMILIES AND CAREGIVERS, REGARDLESS OF WHERE A PERSON RECEIVES THEIR TREATMENT.


A 3 YEAR AGREEMENT WITH COLA THAT PROVIDES FUNDING FOR A LABORATORY PATIENT SAFETY OFFICER FOR THE PURPOSE OF: CO-CREATING INTER-PROFESSIONAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, CULTIVATING BEST PRACTICES AND TOOLS, PUBLISH A CASE STUDY ON IMPROVING PATIENT SAFETY AND SATISFACTION WITH RESPECT TO LABORATORY MEDICINE AND EXPLORE THE RELATIONSHIP OF PROPOSED INTERVENTIONS WITH IMPROVEMENTS IN POPULATION HEALTH.
