THE TEXAS HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT ALLIANCE (THEA) IS A HOUSTON-BASED NON- PROFIT WHOSE MISSION IS TO PROTECT PUBLIC HEALTH AND THE ENVIRONMENT BY ENGAGING, EDUCATING, AND EMPOWERING A MOVEMENT TO CLEAN UP HISTORICAL TOXIC WASTE. THROUGH RESEARCH AND ACCESSIBLE COMMUNICATION, THEA FILLS INFORMATION GAPS REGARDING THE ENVIRONMENT AND PUBLIC HEALTH TO HELP COMMUNITY MEMBERS MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS FOR THE SAFETY OF THEIR FAMILIES.
