THE 4TH DIMENSION RECOVERY CENTER ENVISIONS A FUTURE WHERE SYSTEMS, COMMUNITIES, AND INDIVIDUALS WORK TOGETHER TO ENSURE ALL PEOPLE RECEIVE THE SUPPORT THEY NEED TO FIND AND SUSTAIN RECOVERY FROM SUBSTANCES.

PEER SERVICES: 4D PROVIDES FREE SUBSTANCE USE RECOVERY PEER SERVICES TO PEOPLE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 18-35. THESE SERVICES ARE DELIVERED BY RECOVERY MENTORS (CRM) CERTIFIED BY THE MENTAL HEALTH AND ADDICTION CERTIFICATION BOARD OF OREGON. CRM'S ARE INDIVIDUALS WITH TWO-YEARS OF ABSTINENCE WHO USE THEIR RECOVERY EXPERIENCE TO HELP OTHERS ACHIEVE RECOVERY BY DEVELOPING A RECOVERY LIFESTYLE, OVERCOME BARRIERS, SET/ACHIEVE GOALS AND DEVELOP SELF-EFFICACY. WHILE 4D DOESN'T PROVIDE ANY CLINICAL SERVICES OR MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES, 4D PARTNERS WITH VARIOUS AGENCIES TO ENSURE PEOPLE GET THEIR NEEDS MET. RECOVERY COMMUNITY CENTERS: 4D CURRENTLY HAS TWO RECOVERY COMMUNITY CENTERS WHERE HUNDREDS OF YOUNG ADULTS ATTEND DAILY FOR A VARIETY OF RECOVERY SUPPORT SERVICES. OUR CENTERS PROVIDE ALCOHOL AND DRUG-FREE ENVIRONMENT WHERE YOUNG PEOPLE CAN SOCIALIZE AND CONNECT THROUGH MUTUAL-AID GROUPS, FUN EVENTS, SKILL BUILDING, HEALTH AND WELLNESS, AND OTHER RECOVERY SUPPORTS. PLEASE CHECK OUR CENTER'S CALENDARS FOR SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES.RECOVERY SUPPORTIVE HOUSING: 4D CURRENTLY HAS ONE MEN'S HOUSE (MORE TO COME) THAT PROVIDES A SAFE, PEER-SUPPORTED, SUBSTANCE-FREE HOUSING OPPORTUNITY FOR MEN. INTERESTED INDIVIDUALS MUST BE WILLING TO ENROLL IN 4D PEER SERVICES, ATTEND RECOVERY SUPPORT ACTIVITIES AND COMMIT TO ABSTINENCE. EVERY GUEST OF 4D RECOVERY HOUSE PAYS A MONTHLY FEE OF $475. CIVIC ENGAGEMENT: 4D BELIEVES THE ONLY WAY TO OVERCOME THE SUBSTANCE USE EPIDEMIC IS TO BE ACTIVE IN THE COMMUNITY. THE CIVIC ENGAGEMENT ASPECT OF OUR ORGANIZATION PRIMARILY FOCUSES ON ADVOCACY, ORGANIZING, AND EDUCATING. 4D ADVOCATES FOR LAWS, POLICIES, AND RESOURCES THAT INCREASE RECOVERY IN OUR COMMUNITIES. 4D ORGANIZES THE COMMUNITY IN AN EFFORT TO INCREASE RECOVERY IN OUR COMMUNITIES. 4D EDUCATES OUR COMMUNITY ON RECOVERY AND RECOVERY SUPPORT SERVICES.
