DURING THE YEAR, CAMP PHOENIX SERVED OVER 130 YOUTH FROM LOW-INCOME BACKGROUNDS THROUGH A 3-WEEK, OVERNIGHT SUMMER CAMP AND YEAR-ROUND OUTDOOR PROGRAMS. OUR YOUTH GAINED OVER TWO MONTHS OF LEARNING IN READING AND 25% GROWTH IN MATHEMATICS BY END OF OUR SUMMER PROGRAM. ADDITIONALLY, CAMPERS GAINED LEADERSHIP SKILLS, EQUIPPING THEM TO BECOME ADVOCATES FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE AND ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE NOW AND IN THE FUTURE.
