FOCUS WAS TO BOLSTER AUTISM-RELATED CONTENT ON BOTH READINGROCKETS.ORG, WHICH SUPPORTS ELEMENTARY AGE STUDENTS, AS WELL AS ADLIT.ORG, WHICH SERVES MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS


SUPPORT TO USF FOUNDATION FOR PROGRAMMING & RELATED RESOURCES FOR THE 2021 AUTISM SUMMER INSTITUTE, PURCHASE OF A SERVER AS WELL AS MIFI DEVICES FOR FIELD WORK/REMOTE BACK UP FOR VIRTUAL WORK. ALSO SUPPORTED TLAS DEVELOPMENT OF A COLLEGE PREP COURSE TO INCREASE LIKELIHOOD OF STUDENT SUCCESS W/APPLICATIONS & COURSEWORK


WNET SUPPORTED THE NEEDS OF PARENTS AND FAMILIES IN THE NYC METRO AREA THRU THE PRODUCTION OF PARENTING MINUTES SEGMENTS (INCLUDING SUPPORTING MATERIALS FOR DISTRIBUTION) THAT HIGHLIGHT CHALLENGES FACED & PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS FOR USE BY ALL FAMILIES BUT WITH A SPECIFIC FOCUS ON ISSUES AFFECTING AUTISTIC CHILDREN/THEIR CAREGIVERS.


ADDRESSING THE ISSUE OF EMPLOYEE TALENT SHORTAGES & HIGHLIGHTING AN UNDERVALUED SEGMENT OF THE POPULATION, WEDU CREATED PUBLIC AWARENESS MESSAGING THAT HIGHLIGHTED THE BENEFITS OF HIRING AUTISTIC EMPLOYEES & IDENTIFIED LOCAL SUPPORTS AVAILABLE TO BUSINESSES THAT ASSIST WITH CREATING NEURO-DIVERSE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMS.
