TO CONSTRUCT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE HOMES FOR DISABLED VETERANS OF WAR
THE CONSTRUCTION OF BARRIER-FREE MODIFICATIONS FOR DISABLED VETERANS HOMES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ELEVATORS, ADA KITCHENS, WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE BATHROOMS AND RAMPS, TO ALLOW THE VETERANS THEIR FREEDOME AN INDEPENDENCE. BARRIER-FREE LIVING ALLEVIATES PTSD AN ANXIETY SYMPTOMS.
COLLECTING, CREATING AN DISTRIBUTING CARE PACKAGES OF ESSENTIAL ITEMS AND CARDS TO HUNDREDS OF LOCAL VETERANS. ADVOCATING FOR OUR DISABLED VETERAN COMMUNITY, OUR ELDERLY VETERANS, VETERANS WHO DO NOT QUALIFY FOR VA PROGRAMS,DISABLED VETERANS WHO HAVE NOT SEEN COMBAT, FOUGHT PRE-911, HAVE NOWHERE TO TURN AND HAVE BEEN REJECTED BY OTHER ORGANIZATIONS. INFORM THE PUBLIC OF SIGNIFICANT, TRAGIC EVENTS AND THEIR LASTING EFFECTS (E.G. MASS POISONING OF VETERANS AT CAMP LEJUNE) PROVIDE VIRTUAL ASSISTANCE, RESOURCES AND CONNECTIONS TO SERVICES TO ALLEVIATE PTSD AND OTHER HARDSHIPS.
