STAR AND CRESCENT EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO ENCOURAGE ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AND IMPROVE THE ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE OF THE UNDERGRADUATES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI-COLUMBIA BY PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS AND EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES.

DURING 2018 THE STAR AND CRESCENT EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION GRANTED SCHOLARSHIPS TOTALING 2,750. SINCE INCEPTION THE FOUNDATION HAS GRANTED SCHOLARSHIPS TOTALING OVER 329,750 TO 181 STUDENTS.
TO MAKE EDUCATIONAL AREA GRANTS TO FUND THE DEVELOPMENT OF CERTAIN EDUCATIONAL AREAS THROUGH CONSTRUCTION OR RENOVATION AS DESCRIBED IN PRIVATE LETTER RULING 95-24-032. EXAMPLES OF EDUCATIONAL GRANTS WOULD BE FOR THE DEDICATED STUDY, LIBRARY, COMPUTER AND INSTRUCTIONAL AREAS. DURING 2018 THE FOUNDATION MADE ONE EDUCATIONAL AREA GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF 86,433.
