THE GREENSBORO HEALTH DISPARITIES COLLABORATIVE ESTABLISHES STRUCTURES AND PROCESSES THAT RESPOND TO, EMPOWER AND FACILITATE COMMUNITIES IN DEFINING AND RESOLVING ISSUES RELATED TO DISPARITIES IN HEALTH. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH COMMUNITY ORGANIZING, RESEARCH, AND DISSEMINATION OF RESEARCH FINDINGS.
WORKSHOPS ARE CONDUCTED TO EDUCATE INDIVIDUALS ABOUT THE ORIGINS OF RACISM, DEVELOPING STRATEGIES TO UNDO RACISM AND SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS THROUGH HEALING FROM THE DAMAGING EFFECTS OF RACIAL OPPRESSION. GROUNDWATER COORDINATIN SERVICES.
