2ND HALF WITH LYNGBLOMSTEN COMMUNITY SERVICES PROVIDES RESOURCES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR OLDER ADULTS TO ENHANCE THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE AND HELP THEM REMAIN AS INDEPENDENT AS POSSIBLE FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. WITH A SPECIALTY IN MEMORY LOSS PROGRAMMING AND CAREGIVER SUPPORT, 2ND HALF WITH LYNGBLOMSTEN FOCUSES ITS OFFERINGS ON: SUPPORT FOR INFORMAL FAMILY CAREGIVERS, MEMORY LOSS ENRICHMENT PROGRAMMING, RESOURCES TO CHURCHES, AND WELLNESS AND ENRICHMENT OPPORTUNITIES.A TOTAL OF 390 PERSONS WERE SERVED IN 2021 THROUGH 2ND HALF WITH LYNGBLOMSTEN. TWO HUNDRED NINE OF THEM RECEIVED CAREGIVER/MEMORY LOSS SUPPORT, INCLUDING: MEMORY LOSS CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUPS, ONE-ON-ONE CAREGIVER COACHING, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING, REFERRAL TO RESOURCES, AN ONLINE GROUP ERESPITE PROGRAM FOR PERSONS LIVING WITH MEMORY LOSS, AND (STARTING IN OCTOBER 2021) THE GATHERING, A GROUP RESPITE PROGRAM FOR PERSONS LIVING WITH MEMORY LOSS. LYNGBLOMSTEN HOME HEALTH SERVICES PROVIDED IN-HOME HEALTH AND ASSISTED LIVING SERVICES TO 143 PERSONS LIVING IN LYNGBLOMSTEN HOUSING IN 2021. COMPANION CARE, AN AFFORDABLE SERVICE TO HELP LYNGBLOMSTEN HOUSING TENANTS CONTINUE LIVING IN THEIR OWN APARTMENTS, PROVIDES COMFORT, SECURITY, AND COMPANIONSHIP FOR TENANTS DURING THEIR MOST STRESSFUL TIMES OF THE DAY. COLLABORATION AND WELL-COORDINATED SERVICE WITH LYNGBLOMSTEN'S TRANSITIONAL CARE UNIT (TCU) AT THE LYNGBLOMSTEN CARE CENTER HELPS TENANTS USING THE TCU TRANSITION SMOOTHLY BACK TO THEIR HOMES. LYNGBLOMSTEN SERVICES, INC., IS AFFILIATED WITH LYNGBLOMSTEN AND THE EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH IN AMERICA. LYNGBLOMSTEN AT LINO LAKES IS A CONTINUUM-OF-CARE SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITY BEING BUILT IN LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA. OWNED AND MANAGED BY LYNGBLOMSTEN, THE NEW COMMUNITY WILL PROVIDE A VARIETY OF HOUSING OPTIONS TO OLDER ADULTS, INCLUDING 20 DETACHED RENTAL TOWNHOMES, 96 INDEPENDENT LIVING APARTMENTS, 36 ASSISTED LIVING APARTMENTS, AND 17 MEMORY CARE UNITS. THESE WILL BE BOLSTERED BY AN ARRAY OF CAMPUS AMENITIES, INCLUDING A WELLNESS CENTER (WITH A WARM WATER POOL), CHAPEL, DINING OPTIONS (RESTAURANT, PUB, AND CAF), THEATER, OUTDOOR COURTYARDS AND WALKING TRAILS, COMMUNITY GARDEN, PICKLEBALL COURT, AND MORE.
