BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF EAST CENTRAL WISCONSIN CREATES AND SUPPORTS ONE-TO-ONE MENTORING RELATIONSHIPS THAT IGNITE THE POWER AND PROMISE OF YOUTH. BBBS PROVIDES LIFE-CHANGING FRIENDSHIPS TO YOUTH AGES 6-18. WHILE THE ORGANIZATION MOST DIRECTLY CONNECTS THE YOUTH WITH A VOLUNTEER, BEING PART OF THE BBBS PROGRAM MEANS THAT THE FAMILY UNIT IS ALSO PROVIDED SUPPORT. THE ORGANIZATION AIMS TO BE A PARTNER AT THE TABLE AS FAMILIES WORK ON ADDRESSING ROOT CAUSES OF POVERTY AT PLAY WITHIN THE HOUSEHOLD. IN 2021, 352 YOUTH WERE SERVED WITH THE HELP OF 365 VOLUNTEERS.
