TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR ECONOMICALLY AND ENVIRONMENTALLY SUSTAINABLE ENERGY POLICIES AND PRACTICES, PRIMARILY THE DEVELOPMENT OF RENEWABLE ENERGY.

Part 3 - Line 4a

RENEW WISCONSIN USES ADVOCACY, EDUCATION, AND COLLABORATION TO ADVANCE THE PRODUCTION AND USE OF RENEWABLE ENERGY IN WISCONSIN. OUR EFFORTS EXPAND SOLAR, WIND, GEOTHERMAL, HYDROPOWER, BIOMASS, AND BIOGAS RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES. WE CONDUCT EDUCATION TO INCREASE THE ADOPTION OF EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES (ENERGY STORAGE, ELECTRIC VEHICLES, MICROGRIDS, AND BUILDING ELECTRIFICATION TOOLS) TO ACCELERATE THE TRANSFORMATION TO A CLEAN GRID. WE ADMINISTER SOLAR AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE GRANT PROGRAMS TO HELP NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, HOMEOWNERS AND BUSINESSES SHIFT TO CLEAN ENERGY. WE HOSTED OUR 10TH ANNUAL RENEWABLE ENERGY POLICY SUMMIT FROM JANUARY 12 -14, 2021, BRINGING TOGETHER OVER 500 ATTENDEES FOCUSED ON RENEWABLE ENERGY INITIATIVES IN WISCONSIN. WE ALSO REPRESENTED THE RENEWABLE ENERGY INDUSTRY, AND LIKE-MINDED INDIVIDUALS AS IMPORTANT CRUCIAL DECISIONS WERE MADE BY STATE AND LOCAL POLICYMAKERS.
