IN 2021, UNITED WAY OF SOUTHWEST MICHIGAN PROVIDE FUNDING TO 61 PROGRAMS AND 5 COLLECTIVE IMPACT PROJECTS AT 45 AGENCIES. UNITED WAY OF SOUTHWEST MICHIGAN FUNDING HELPED AREA AGENCIES RECEIVE OVER $1,600,000 IN MATCHING FUNDS IN 2021. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO MOBILIZED 2,280 VOLUNTEERS WHO DONATED NEARLY 15,559 HOURS OF THEIR TIME; A TOTAL VALUE OF $444,052. UNITED WAY IS MEASURING THE CHANGE THAT OUR INVESTMENTS CREATE. WITH THE HELP OF UNITED WAY OF SOUTHWEST MICHIGAN, MORE THAN 11,100 CHILDREN, AGES 0-5, WERE ENROLLED IN HIGH QUALITY EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMMING AND OVER 700 PEOPLE RECEIVED JOB SKILLS TRAINING. MORE THAN 21,000 INDIVIDUALS RECEIVED ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE SERVICES AND SUPPORT AND OVER 1,178,000 MEALS WERE PROVIDED.
