JOHN'S OTHER SPECIALIZED SERVICES INCLUDE CANCER CARE, WOMEN'S SERVICES, A NEUROSCIENCES INSTITUTE, HOME HEALTH, HOSPICE, AN EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT THAT NEARLY 54,000 PEOPLE PER YEAR SEEK CARE IN AND THE ST. JOHN'S CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL. OUR CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL IS THE ONLY COMPREHENSIVE CHILD HEALTH CARE FACILITY IN SOUTH-CENTRAL ILLINOIS AND PROVIDES VITAL HEALTH CARE FOR THE REGION'S CHILDREN, FROM INFANCY THROUGH AGE 18. RECOGNIZED BY THE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION AND A MEMBER OF THE ASSOCIATION OF ILLINOIS CHILDREN'S HOSPITALS, ST.
