WE RAISE PRIVATE FUNDS AND PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR WHOLE-CHILD WELLNESS, EDUCATIONAL EQUITY, EXCELLENT ACADEMIC OPPORTUNITIES, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND DISTRICT CAPACITY FOR TETON COUNTY, WYOMING'S PUBLIC SCHOOLS.

SCHOOL ENHANCEMENT: IN THE PAST YEAR, THE FUND FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION CONTINUED TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR TETON SCHOOL DISTRICK #1 PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS NOT COVERED BY THE DISTRICT'S BUDGET. THE FUND PROVIDED SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDING THAT ENABLED THE DISTRICT TO PROVIDE MORE THAN 200,000 FREE MEALS TO CHILDREN ACROSS TETON COUNTY. WE DIRECTLY SUPPORTED TEACHERS WITH OVER $22,000 IN FUNDING FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND CLASSROOM ENRICHMENT, SUPPORTED NATIONAL TRAVEL FOR 16 STUDENTS, AND PURCHASED 65 BOOKS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS FOR A SUMMER READING PROGRAM.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: THE FUND FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION SUPPORTED COLLEGE AND VOCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR GRADUATING SENIORS IN TETON COUNTY. THIS FUNDING DIRECTLY SUPPORTS THEIR EDUCATION IN POST-SECONDARY SCHOOL AND IS MADE POSSIBLE BY OUR COMMUNITY WHO IS DEEPLY INVESTED IN THEIR SUCCESS. AS WE LOOK FORWARD, WE ANTICIPATE GROWTH IN THIS PROGRAM AND ARE HONORED TO BE ABLE TO SUPPORT STUDENTS IN THIS CAPACITY.
STUDENT ENRICHMENT AND OUTREACH: ADDITIONALLY WE FUNDED ANCILLARY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS LIKE STRAIGHTEN UP, WHICH PROVIDED FREE ORTHODONTIC CARE FOR KIDS WITH NO OTHER MEANS OF RECEIVING TREATMENT, AND FREE MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING THROUGH THE JEAN COLDSMITH IMPACT FUND.
