TRANSPORTATION FOR ILLINOIS COALITION (TFIC) EXISTS TO BE THE RECOGNIZED AUTHORITY AND UNIFYING VOICE FOR TRANSPORTATION INVESTMENTS IN ILLINOIS, AND WORKS TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT THROUGH EDUCATION AND OUTREACH.

MANAGEMENT FEES - A PORTION OF THE MANAGEMENT FIRM'S EXPENSES WERE TO EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE TO THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF TRANSPORTATION BY USING THEIR EXPERTISE AND UNDERSTANDING THAT COVER PUBLIC POLICY AND OTHER ISSUES.


OTHER - TFIC RELIES ON THE SUBSTANTIVE EXPERTISE OF A TRANSPORTATION POLICY ANALYST TO INFORM THE PUBLIC OF THE COALITION'S WORK, SUCH AS HELPING PREPARE AND GIVE NUMEROUS PRESENTATIONS TO MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS AND COMMUNITY GROUPS. TFIC ALSO HIRED AN OUTSIDE FIRM TO HELP THE COALITION EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE TO THE PUBLIC THROUGH MEDIA COVERAGE ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF TRANSPORTATION.
