CONXUSNEO BUILDS THE CAPACITY AND IMPROVES THE PERFORMANCE OF THE GREATER AKRON TALENT ECOSYSTEM BY PARTNERING WITH COMPANIES TO IDENTIFY THE SKILLS THEY NEED AND BY SUPPORTING THEM IN WORKING WITH EDUCATORS, WORKFORCE PROGRAMS, THE PUBLIC SECTOR, ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS TO INNOVATE SOLUTIONS THAT FILL OPEN POSITIONS AND BUILD A TALENT PIPELINE.

FROM MARCH 2020-PRESENT, CONXUSNEO LAUNCHED RAISE: GOOD JOBS FOR GREATER AKRON AS A PILOT PROJECT. RAISE IS A COMMUNITY INITIATIVE TO HELP EMPLOYERS, EDUCATION/TRAINING ORGANIZATIONS, WORKFORCE PROGRAMS AND COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS GIVE RESIDENTS GREATER ACCESS TO GOOD JOBS, UPSKILLING OPPORTUNITIES AND WRAP AROUND SUPPORT. THE GOAL IS TO MOBILIZE UN/UNDEREMPLOYED RESIDENTS TO CONNECT WITH EMPLOYERS OR TRAINING PROGRAMS TO EXPEDITE THE UPSKILLING AND HIRING NECESSARY TO FILL OPEN, IN-DEMAND JOBS, MEETING THE EMPLOYERS SKILLED WORKFORCE NEEDS AND PROVIDING RESIDENTS WITH BETTER CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AND IMPROVING QUALITY OF LIFE. CONXUSNEO HAS CONVENED 3 INDUSTRY SECTOR PARTNERSHIPS TO MOBILIZE EMPLOYERS IN MANUFACTURING, HEALTHCARE AND TECHNOLOGY TO COLLABORATE WITH EACH OTHER, EDUCATION AND TRAINING PARTNERS AND COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS TO BUILD AND SUPPORT THE SKILLED WORKFORCE THEY NEED. THE GOAL IS TO CULTIVATE A HIGH-PERFORMING TALENT SUPPLY CHAIN BY BUILDING THE CAPACITY AND IMPROVING THE PERFORMANCE OF A RANGE OF ALIGNED STAKEHOLDERS WHO ARE PREPARING INDIVIDUALS WITH THE RIGHT SKILLS, REMOVING BARRIERS, CONNECTING QUALIFIED CANDIDATES TO EMPLOYERS, AND SUPPORTING EMPLOYERS TO UPSKILL INCUMBENT STAFF.
