OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES: WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT, WHIRE SERVICES, AND OTHERWORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT: WE BELIEVE PEOPLE NEED SKILLS, TRAINING, EQUIPMENT, RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION AND CHILDCARE IN ORDER TO ADVANCE THEIR CAREER OPPORTUNITIES.IN 2021, OUR FUNDED PROGRAMS PROVIDED THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:289 PEOPLE RECEIVED CAREER SKILLS AND TRAINING18 PEOPLE RECEIVED INDUSTRY CREDENTIALSWHIRE REFERRAL LINETHIS PROGRAM PROVIDES FREE INFORMATION AND REFERRALS TO PEOPLE IN NEED IN HOLMES AND WAYNE COUNTY. IT ALSO PROVIDES PRINTED RESOURCE DIRECTORIES FOR SENIOR CITIZENS AND PEOPLE WHO ARE HOMELESS.IN 2021, WE ANSWERED 8,632 PHONE CALLS ON OUR FIRST CALL FOR HELP HOTLINE. WE ALSO SERVED AS THE COVID-19 VACCINE HOTLINE IN COLLABORATION WITH THE WAYNE COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT, WOOSTER COMMUNITY HOSPITAL AND AULTMAN ORRVILLE HOSPITAL.
