MISSION: THROUGH PARTNERSHIP, GUIDING THOSE IN NEED TO SUSTAINABLE HOUSING. VISION: A COMMUNITY WHERE EVERYONE ENJOYS A SAFE, STABLE AND SUSTAINABLE HOME.

THE TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM PROVIDED TEMPORARY (AVE. 6 MONTHS) HOUSING AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO 157 HOMELESS MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN DURING THE 2021-2022 FISCAL YEAR IN SCATTERED SITES THROUGHOUT THE CITY OF NEWARK. IN ADDITION, THE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION-FUNDED HOMELESS VETERAN GRANT AND PER DIEM (GDP) PROGRAM SERVED 13 VETERAN HOUSEHOLDS (15 PEOPLE) IN 5 UNITS, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LICKING/KNOX GOODWILL INDUSTRIES AND THE COLUMBUS VA.


LCCH'S RAPID RE-HOUSING PROGRAM PROVIDES RE-HOUSING ASSISTANCE, ADMINISTRATIVE OVERSIGHT, AND CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES. DURING THE 2021-2022 FISCAL YEAR, 581 HOMELESS PERSONS (INCLUDING CHILDREN) RECEIVED FINANCIAL AID FOR RENT AND/OR SECURITY DEPOSITS. THE RRH PROGRAM CONSISTS OF THREE COMPONENTS: RAPID RE-HOUSING OHIO (RRHO) FOR FAMILIES ONLY RESIDING IN THE 80 OHIO COUNTIES OUTSIDE THE 8 METROPOLITAN AREAS, LCCH'S RAPID RE-HOUSING EFFORT TARGETED TO SINGLE ADULTS OR ADULTS WITHOUT CHILDREN RESIDING IN LICKING COUNTY AND REGION 9 RAPID RE-HOUSING THAT SERVES THE SIX COUNTIES INCLUDED IN THE OHIO BALANCE OF STATE HOMELESS PLANNING REGION 9: LICKING, FAIRFIELD, KNOX, HOLMES, COSHOCTON AND MUSKINGUM COUNTIES. RROHIO SERVED 153 HOUSEHOLDS (197 ADULTS AND 305 CHILDREN). LCCH RR SERVED 23 HOUSEHOLDS (28 PEOPLE). REGION 9 RR SERVED 43 HOUSEHOLDS (51 PEOPLE).


SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR VETERAN FAMILIES (SSVF) IS FUNDED BY THE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION (VA). SSVF PROVIDES SUPPORTIVE SERVICES AND HOUSING SUPPORT TO VERY LOW-INCOME VETERANS (ADULTS AND FAMILIES) WHO ARE HOMELESS OR AT-RISK FOR HOMELESSNESS. DURING THE 2021-2022 FISCAL YEAR, 113 PERSONS (78 VETERAN HOUSEHOLDS) RECEIVED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND CASE MANAGEMENT FOR HOMELESSNESS PREVENTION OR RAPID RE-HOUSING ASSISTANCE IN LICKING, KNOX AND COSHOCTON COUNTIES.
