TO PROVIDE MEDICAL, DENTAL, PHARMACEUTICAL, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, VISION AND HEALTH EDUCATION SERVICE TO THE UNINSURED AND UNDERINSURED POOR OF WEST VIRGINIA. WV HEALTH RIGHT ALSO OPERATES A CHARITABLE MAIL ORDER PHARMACY FOR WEST VIRGINIA RESIDENTS WHOSE INCOME IS 250% OR BELOW THE FEDERAL POVERTY LEVEL.

DURING FY 2022, WV HEALTH RIGHT SERVED AS A PATIENT CENTERED MEDICAL HOME FOR 42,000 IMPOVERISHED UNINSURED/UNDERINSURED WEST VIRGINIA RESIDENTS WHO RECEIVED COMPREHENSIVE HEALTHCARE INCLUDING MEDICAL, SPECIALTY CARE, DENTAL, PHARMACEUTICAL, VISION, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER CARE, HEALTH EDUCATION, HARM REDUCTION SERVICES, FAMILY PLANNING, MOBILE DENTAL AND MOBILE MEDICAL/STREET MEDICINE SERVICES. TOTAL IN-KIND SUPPORT OVER $19 MILLION WHICH WAS PROVIDED DIRECTLY TO OUR CLIENTS. WV HEALTH RIGHT'S MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTSINCLUDE: CONTINUED MAJOR PUBLIC HEALTH RESPONSE TO COVID PANDEMIC WITH DAILY TESTING AND VACCINATIONS IN OUR DRIVE THROUGH. CONTINUED EMPHASIS ON HIV & HEP. C, TESTING, EXPANSION OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE DISORDER TREATMENT AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES. FINALLY, OPENING THE COMMUNITY WELLNESS CENTER ALONGSIDE THE WEST SIDE CLINIC OFFICE TO OFFER A FREE GYM, THE TEACHING KITCHEN, THE LITTLE SPROUTS ROOM WHICH OFFERS FREE CHILD CARE SERVICES DURING PATIENT VISITS AND THE COMMUNITY LEARNING SPACE FOR FREE COMMUNITY USE.
