KIPP INDIANAPOLIS, INC. (KIPP INDY) IS A NETWORK OF TUITION-FREE, OPEN-ENROLLMENT, COLLEGE PREPARATORY, PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOLS.

THE ACADEMIC PROGRAM OF THE SCHOOLS IS DESIGNED TO CHALLENGE EVERY STUDENT TO ACHIEVE ON OR ABOVE GRADE LEVEL PERFORMANCE IN ALL ACADEMIC SUBJECTS. WHILE STUDENTS MAY ENTER THE SCHOOLS BELOW GRADE LEVEL IN MANY AREAS, THE SCHOOLS ARE PREPARED FOR THE CHALLENGE OF EQUIPPING STUDENTS WITH THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND HABITS NECESSARY FOR SUCCESS IN AN ACADEMICALLY RIGOROUS COLLEGE PREPARATORY HIGH SCHOOL. THE SCHOOLS' CURRICULUMS ARE BASED UPON THE INDIANA ACADEMIC STANDARDS AND ARE TAUGHT RIGOROUSLY TO ENSURE THAT STUDENTS ARE PREPARED FOR A COLLEGE PREPARATORY HIGH SCHOOL UPON COMPLETION OF THE 8TH GRADE. THE SCHOOLS PROVIDE AN AGE-APPROPRIATE CURRICULUM FOR READING, LANGUAGE ARTS, MATH, SCIENCE, AND SOCIAL STUDIES AT EACH GRADE LEVEL AND ALL STUDENTS ARE ENROLLED IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION. TEACHERS ALSO LEAD AN ADVISORY ROLE, WHICH CONSISTS OF INSTRUCTION IN THE VALUES, LIFE SKILLS, AND STUDY SKILLS.
