CONVENTION - IAPALA AND ITS AFFILIATE HOST A BIANNUAL CONVENTION THAT GATHERS MEMBERSHIP AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS TOGETHER TO DISCUSS THE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC JUSTICE ISSUES IMPACTING THE ASIAN PACIFIC AMERICAN COMMUNITY. THERE ARE KEYNOTE SPEAKERS, WORKSHOPS, PLENARIES AND ELECTIONS FOR IAPALA AND APALA'S NATIONAL EXECUTIVE BOARD AND NATIONAL OFFICERS.


OUTREACH AND TRAINING - IAPALA AND AFFILIATE PROVIDES TRAINING TO ITS MEMBERS, CHAPTERS AND NATIONAL EXECUTIVE BOARD, AND FACILITATES TRAININGS ON ORGANIZING "EVERY VOTE COUNTS" PROGRAMS. APALA ANDAFFILIATE ALSO STRENGTHENS COMMUNITY, LABOR AND YOUTH PARTNERSHIPS WITH SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS AND COALITION BUILDING.
