THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE OF THIS CORPORATION IS TO OFFER A PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM TO EQUIP TEACHERS TO ENLIST THE ARTS AS STRATEGIES ACROSS THE CURRICULUM; PROVIDED, HOWEVER, THAT THE CORPORATION'S PURPOSES SHALL AT ALL TIMES BE LIMITED TO AND CONSISTENT WITH THE BASIS UPON WHICH THE CORPORATION IS GRANTED TAX-EXEMPT STATUS UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986, AS AMENDED.

FOR FY22, COTA CONDUCTED 39 ARTIST/TEACHER COLLABORATIONS AT 2 SCHOOLS IN CALIFORNIA, PROVIDED ARTS INTEGRATION COACHING TO 24 TEACHERS AT 13 SCHOOLS, OFFERED 11 TEACHER DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS, AND LED 2 FOUR-DAY VIRTUAL TEACHER INSTITUTES. DURING THE YEAR, 175 EDUCATORS AND 1551 STUDENTS WERE ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN COTA PROGRAMS.
