THE MISSION OF THE 100 BLACK MEN OF AMERICA, INC. IS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE WITHIN OUR COMMUNITIES AND ENHANCE EDUCATION AND ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL AFRICAN AMERICANS

Part 3

SCHOLARSHIPS - A MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT OF OUR CHAPTER HAS BEEN THE ANNUAL AWARDING OF SCHOLARSHIPS TO NEEDY AND DESERVING STUDENTS IN OUR COMMUNITY. THIS YEAR WE WILL PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO AT LEAST 17 HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATING SENIORS WHO WILL MATRICULATE TO VARIOUS COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES.


MENTORING THE 100 WAY IS OUR SATURDAY MORNING MENTORING PROGRAM WHICH INVOLVES MORE THAN 60 YOUTH IN MENTORING ACTIVITIES WHICH FOCUS ON ACADEMICS AND CAREER AND PERSONAL GOAL DEVELOPMENT. BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS PARTICIPATE IN THE MENTORING ACTIVITIES, AND THEIR AGES RANGE FROM 8-18.
