THE FOUNDATION SPONSORS A YEAR ROUND FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN TO PROVIDE TOYS TO NEEDY CHILDREN. CONTRIBUTIONS ARE SOLICITED THROUGH NEWSPAPER, RADIO, AND TELEVISION APPEALS. THE FOUNDATION HAS ESTABLISHED A RELATIONSHIP WITH THE SALVATION ARMY WHEREBY THE SALVATION ARMY ORDERS AND DISTRIBUTES TOYS THAT ARE PAID FOR BY THE FOUNDATION.

TOYS WERE DISTRIBUTED TO NEEDY CHILDREN WHOSE NAMES WERE OBTAINED THROUGH REFERRALS FROM CHURCHES, SCHOOLS, AND WELFARE AGENCIES. THE SALVATION ARMY ORDERS AND DISTRIBUTES GOODS WHICH ARE PAID FOR BY THE JOY FUND FOUNDATION. THIS RELATIONSHIP WAS ESTABLISHED BEGINNING IN THE JULY 31, 2003 FISCAL YEAR.
