THE ASSOCIATION IS A MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS OF PUBLIC HOUSING AUTHORITIES WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY AND MANAGEMENT OF ASSISTED HOUSING PROGRAMS THROUS SEMINARS, WORKSHOPS AND THE REPRESENTATION OF PUBLIC HOUSING EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) AND THE CONGRESS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE ASSOCIATION SERVES AS A LIAISON BETWEEN HOUSING AUTHORITIES, CONGRESS, AND HUD. IT PROVIDES TRAINING SESSIONS AND GUIDANCE TO ITS MEMBERS CONCERNING PUBLIC HOUSING REGULATIONS. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO SERVES TO PROMOTE AWARENESS OF NATIONAL HOUSING ISSUES.
