TO MAKE CERTAIN THAT ALL UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS' NEEDS ARE BEING MET BY ACTING AS A STUDENT VOICE FOR THE CAMPUS COMMUNITY, SERVING AS AN OUTLET FOR STUDENT CONCERNS, PROMOTING STUDENT PARTICIPATION IN CAMPUS LIFE, AND INVESTIGATING SOLUTIONS TO VARIOUS ISSUES THAT AFFECT THE CAMPUS AS A WHOLE.

THE ASSOCIATION EMPHASIZES THE NEED FOR DIVERSITY IN ITS RESOURCES AND LEADERSHIP THAT REFLECT THE COMMUNITY AND ITS CAMPUS POPULATION. DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THE ASSOCIATION ACCOMMODATED STUDENT LEARNING BY LOBBYING FOR A PASS/NO CREDIT OPTION DURING THE AFFECTED SEMESTERS AND INCREASED STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS. THE ASSOCIATION EMPHASIZES THE NEED FOR DIVERSITY IN ITS RESOURCES AND LEADERSHIP THAT REFLECT THE COMMUNITY AND ITS CAMPUS POPULATION. THE FOLLOWING ARE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WORK ACCOMPLISHED DURING THE 2020-21 ACADEMIC YEAR:- PROMOTED STUDENT VOICES THROUGH EXPRESSED SUPPORT OF PEACEFUL RACIAL JUSTICE PROTESTS- PASSED RESOLUTIONS SUPPORTING LGBTQIA+ PEOPLE SUCH AS SUPPORT FOR A ROWAN PRIDE WEEK- "ROWAN VOTES" INITIATIVES PUSHED FOR GREATER VOTER PARTICIPATION IN GENERAL SGA ELECTIONS - ESTABLISHED INITIATIVE TO ENCOURAGE REGISTRATION FOR PRESIDENTIAL AND LOCAL/NEW JERSEY ELECTIONS- SUPPORT OF PHASE 3 OF THE MEDITATION WALK PROJECT- IMPLEMENTATION OF THE WELLNESS CENTER STUDENT FEE
