THE MISSION OF BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS IS TO MAKE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF CHILDREN, WHO ARE FACING EMOTIONAL, SOCIAL AND ACADEMIC CHALLENGES. THROUGH PROFESSIONAL-SUPPORTED RELATIONSHIPS WITH A CARING ADULT, BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS ASSISTS THE CHILDREN IN ACHIEVING THEIR HIGHEST POTENTIAL AS THEY GROW TO BECOME CONFIDENT, COMPENTENT AND CARING INDIVIDUALS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

RECRUIT, SCREEN AND TRAIN ADULT VOLUNTEERS AND TO MATCH AND SUPERVISE THEM IN MENTOR RELATIONSHIPS WITH LOCAL AT RISK YOUTH. THE AGENCY ALSO PROVIDES ADDITIONAL RECREATIONAL, EDUCATION, AND COMMUNITY SERVICE ACTIVITES TO ENHANCE THE SUCCESS OF THE MATCH.
