THE MISSION OF OUR HOUSE, INC. IS TO PROVIDE HEALTHY, STIMULATING, AND INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENTS FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES THROUGH COMMUNITY RESIDENCES, EMPLOYMENT SERVICES, INNOVATIVE DAY PROGRAMS, SOCIAL OPPORTUNITIES AND RELATED SUPPORT SERVICES DESIGNED TO HELP THEM ACHIEVE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL FOR LIVING MEANINGFUL AND PRODUCTIVE LIVES.

RESIDENTIAL SERVICES- OUR HOUSE PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL LIVING SERVICES TO ADULTS WITH INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AND A WIDE RANGE OF SUPPORT SERVICES. RESIDENTIAL SERVICES INCLUDE HOUSING AND RELATED DAILY LIVING ASSISTANCE AS WELL AS INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT SERVICES WHICH FOSTER INDEPENDENCE, ACHIEVEMENT OF PERSONAL GOALS AND ENCOURAGING COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND AWARENESS. OUR HOUSE DELIVERS THE RESIDENTIAL SERVICES IN GROUP HOMES AND SUPERVISED AND SUPPORTIVE LIVING APARTMENTS SETTINGS SCATTERED THROUGHOUT RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITIES IN VARIOUS NEW JERSEY COUNTIES.


SUPPORTS PROGRAM- PROVIDES SUPPORTED LIVING, EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING SERVICES TO ADULTS WITH INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. THESE SUPPORT SERVICES ASSIST PARTICIPANTS IN OBTAINING AND MAINTAINING COMPETITIVE EMPLOYMENT THROUGH SCREENING, JOB COACHING AND EDUCATION, WITH FOLLOW UP PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS.


DAY SERVICES- OUR HOUSE OFFERS QUALITY, INNOVATIVE, COMMUNITY-BASED DAY SERVICES THROUGH ITS HOPE AUTISM SOLUTIONS PROGRAM AND VOLUNTEER ACTION PROGRAM. THE HOPE AUTISM SOLUTIONS PROGRAM IS AIMED AT PROVIDING ADULTS WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER AND WITH PHYSICAL/MEDICAL ISSUES, AN ENVIRONMENT THAT SUPPORTS PERSONAL GROWTH, LEARNING, EMPOWERMENT AND SELF- ESTEEM. VOLUNTEER ACTION PROGRAM ALLOWS PARTICIPANTS TO VOLUNTEER THEIR TIME AND GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY AS WELL AS EXPERIENCE RECEREATIONAL AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES. THESE PROGRAMS INCLUDE A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES THAT ENGAGE PARTICIPANTS AND PROVIDE THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO LIVE PRODUCTIVE MEANINGFUL LIVES AND INTEGRATION INTO THE COMMUNITY.
