THE LARGEST PROGRAM SERVICE: ROBOTICS | THE ROBOTICS BOOSTES SUPPORT MN SCHOOL DISTRICT 719'S ROBOTICS PROGRAM, PURCHASING HIGH-TECH COMPONENTS USED FOR BUILDING COMPETITION GRADE ROBOTS. THE PLHS ROBOTICS PROGRAM PROMOTES LEARNING AND EXPERIENCES IN AREAS OF STRATEGY, DESIGN, MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL BUILD AND TECHNOLOGIES, PROTOTYPING, ENGINEERING PRACTICES, MATH AND SCIENCE APPLICATIONS, COMPUTER PROGRAMMING, DRAFTIN, WEBSITE DESIGN, MARKETING, COMMUNICATIONS, TEAMWORK, MANAGING PEOPLE, ETHICAL PRACTICES AND TEACHING OF YOUNGER STUDENTS. THE PROGRAM ALSO ORGANIZED AND HOSTED COMPETITIONS FOR TEAMS IN OUR REGION.


SECOND LARGEST PROGRAM SERVICE: THE PATRONS OF THE ARTS AND ACTIVITIES IS THE "MASTER" ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTING ARTS AND NON-ATHLETIC EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES FOR STUDENTS IN MN SCHOOL DISTRICT 719. IT PROVIDED FUNDING FOR ACTIVITIES INCLUDING ART, MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL BAND, CHOIR, KNOWLEDGE BOWL, MOCK TRAIL, ROBOTICS, SPEECH AND THEATER. PAA COLLECTED MONEY AND DISTRIBUTED IT TO THE AFOREMENTIONED STUDENT ACTIVITIES BASED ON NEED AND UPON APPROVING REQUESTS FOR FUNDING.
