THE ORGANIZATION (NPHI USA) SUPPORTS HOMES FOR POOR AND ABANDONED CHILDREN IN LATIN AMERICA. THE NPH HOMES PROVIDE FOOD, CLOTHING, HEALTH CARE AND EDUCATION TO THESE CHILDREN IN A CHRISTIAN FAMILY ENVIRONMENT BASED ON THE PRINCIPLES OF UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE AND LOVE, SHARING, WORK, AND RESPONSIBILITY. NPHI HAS ENTERED INTO AGREEMENTS WITH NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WITH RELIGIOUS, EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(3) THAT HAVE DEMONSTRATED AN ABILITY TO MANAGE HOMES AND EFFECTIVELY CARE FOR CHILDREN IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES. UNDER ITS AFFILIATION AGREEMENTS, NPHI USA SERVES AS THE CENTRAL REPOSITORY FOR ADMINISTERING AND DISTRIBUTING FUNDS TO THE AFFILIATES IN THE OPERATION OF THE HOMES. IN ADDITION, NPHI USA WILL PARTICIPATE IN EDUCATING, TRAINING AND GUIDING THE HOMES IN THEIR CARE FOR CHILDREN AND IN TRAINING AND GUIDING THE HOMES IN THE PROPER ORGANIZATION, MANAGEMENT, AND CARE FOR THE CHILDREN.

NPHI USA MADE PROGRAM GRANTS TO NINE HOMES (NPH HOMES) IN LATIN AMERICA TO BE USED DIRECTLY FOR THE INTEGRAL DEVELOPMENT, SHELTER, FOOD, CLOTHING, HEALTH CARE AND EDUCATION OF CHILDREN. IN 2021, THE GRANTS SUPPORTED 3,013 CHILDREN/YOUTH AND AN ADDITIONAL 3,679 CHILDREN FROM LOW-INCOME HOUSEHOLDS AND VULNERABLE NEIGHBORHOODS ATTENDED NPH SCHOOLS. THE NPH HOMES SERVE THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WITH MEDICAL CLINICS AND OTHER OUTREACH PROGRAMS. OVER 83,300 SERVICES WERE PROVIDED THROUGH COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS. IN ADDITION TO ITS HOME, NPH HAITI ALSO OPERATES A 200-BED PEDIATRIC HOSPITAL IN TABARRE, PUBLIC HEALTH PROGRAMS AND MEDICAL CLINICS WHICH SERVE MORE THAN 27,000 CHILDREN EACH YEAR AND PROVIDE OVER 53,000 SERVICES A YEAR.
